Admissions Children from two and a half years can be admitted at any time in September, January and April. Once your child is registered, you will receive a letter confirming a place or a waiting list place. Places are offered at least six months before your child is due to start, and a deposit of £150 is payable upon acceptance. This deposit will be deducted from the final term's fees. Fees are payable on the first day of term. A full term's written notice must be given by the first day of term should you wish to withdraw your child, otherwise a full term's fees will be charged. Nursery Education Grant The Department for Education allocates a grant, payable per term, for children aged three and four. This will be claimed automatically by the school and returned to you by cheque. Staffing There are two qualified Montessori teachers and one member of staff with a childcare qualification. There are also music and French teachers who attend regularly. A ratio of staff to children of 1:4 applies when teaching children under three years old. For children aged three and over, the ratio is 1:8. |
